Why Focus On Longevity?

For most of my life, I didn’t fully understand the impact my diet had on my health. Throughout my childhood and adolescence, and even into adulthood, I was fed—and chose to eat—a diet filled with sugar, processed foods, and seed oils. I realize now that this may have been from a source of ignorance, but once I understood the damage these foods were causing, I knew I couldn’t continue to poison my body for the rest of my life. As a mother, I feel a deep responsibility to break this cycle. Even if it was unintentional, I would never subject my daughter to the same harmful habits I grew up with. My focus now is on creating a healthier future for the both of us.

My real shift in mindset began a couple of years ago when I launched my YouTube channel. Around the same time, I discovered Bryan Johnson and his Blueprint, which opened my eyes to the importance of taking my health seriously. It inspired me to start making meaningful changes, and I’m incredibly grateful for finding Blueprint because it gave me the tools and structure I needed to begin this transformation.

Now, I’m on a journey of female longevity optimization, still in the early stages of figuring out what works best for me. I’m experimenting with different protocols, learning, and growing along the way. I want to share every step of this process with you, so together, we can take intentional steps to live longer, healthier, and more fulfilling lives.

My Protocol So Far

My protocol is constantly evolving as I continue to explore and optimize my health journey. As I learn and experiment, these practices will grow and adapt to better support my longevity and well-being.

Prioritizing Sleep: Sleep has become a non-negotiable for me, as it’s essential for both recovery and longevity. I’m actively working on improving my sleep by reducing screen time before bed and focusing on getting a minimum of 8 hours of sleep each night. I begin my wind-down routine at 8 pm. This quiet time helps me relax and signals to my body that it's time to rest. I enjoy reading, either alone or with my daughter when she’s with me, as part of this calming ritual. By 8:30 pm, it's lights out. I'm fortunate to have a child who has always been an expert sleeper, and I’m incredibly thankful that she benefits from it. Establishing this routine has been essential in ensuring I get quality rest and maintain a healthy sleep schedule.

Nutrient-Rich Diet:
I’m focusing on a whole foods diet, rich in leafy greens, healthy fats, and lean proteins, following a blend of Blueprint and Mediterranean meals. I’ve completely eliminated alcohol, fast food, processed foods, and refined sugars from my diet to support long-term health and vitality.

Daily Movement:
From jogging to dance fitness or even just stretching, staying active has been essential for both my physical and mental health. I make it a goal to complete 4 to 6 online classes each week through the
Teddi B Workout program. It’s an amazing and affordable program at just $39 a month, and I love that I can workout anywhere, on my own schedule.

Oral Health:
My routine includes flossing with
DrTung's Smart Floss, brushing for two minutes with the Oral-B Pro electric toothbrush, and using DrTung’s stainless steel tongue scraper both morning and night. I also make sure to keep up with regular dental cleanings to maintain optimal oral hygiene.

Skin Health: Currently, I keep things simple:

  1. Gentle Cleanser: To cleanse without stripping my skin.

  2. Blueprint Olive Oil: Used as a natural, nourishing moisturizer.

  3. EltaMD SPF 46: Daily sun protection to prevent damage and aging.

  4. Omnilux Contour LED Face Mask: I use this three times a week to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, diminish pigmentation and redness, and promote healthier, younger-looking skin.
